About Dr. Valerie Landfair
Welcome to the heart of transformation and inclusivity, where every journey is a story of potential unlocked and horizons expanded. I’m Dr. Valerie Ranee Landfair, the driving force behind VRL Integrative Coaching LLC and the visionary founder of Firstfruit Ministries Incorporated. My journey is fueled by a deeply personal mantra: “I Like People.” This isn’t just a phrase; it’s the essence of my life’s work and mission. It signifies my dedication to forging authentic connections, appreciating the richness of diverse perspectives, and nurturing individual and community growth. It’s the foundation upon which I build pathways to understanding, acceptance, and transformation for every soul I have the privilege to encounter.
My story began on the vibrant west side of Chicago, in a home affectionately known as the “KoolAid House.” This was a place of warmth and welcome, where friends, family, and neighbors gathered, teaching me the invaluable lessons of community and belonging. Despite challenges with self-esteem and acceptance, the rich mosaic of cultures and ethnicities I encountered during my schooling years ignited a passion within me for inclusion, equity, and the celebration of diversity.
My professional journey commenced upon graduation, embarking on a path that would take me through 25+ years of leadership within a Fortune 100 company. There, I honed my skills in change management, strategic planning, organizational design, mentoring, team development, and executive coaching. My certification as an Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Qualified Administrator is a testament to my commitment to fostering inclusive leadership in an ever-evolving global landscape.
The creation of Firstfruit Ministries Incorporated during my corporate tenure was a heartfelt endeavor to integrate my faith with my professional goals. Leading intercultural, interracial, and interfaith initiatives, I sought to weave spiritual enrichment into the fabric of everyday life. As a professor and author, my academic contributions further reflect my dedication to intellectual and spiritual exploration and growth.
As a consultant, trainer, preacher, retreat speaker, and Bible study facilitator, my influence transcends traditional boundaries. I offer insights and guidance that inspire change and nurture the soul. My academic achievements, culminating in a Ph.D. in Theological Studies from Regent University, a Master of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary, and a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Illinois State University, underpin a holistic approach to human capital development.
At the core of my mission lies a profound commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of individuals, communities, and organizations. I invite you to embark on a transformation journey with me—a journey where your potential is realized, your leadership is cultivated, and your community is strengthened. Together, let’s unlock the doors to a future where growth and development are not just goals but realities for everyone we touch.
